Kennel 'du Fauve Beaute' Tervuerense herder en Hollandse herder

* This weekend our puppies left to settle with their new owners. So far, the feedback is positive. The socialisation and further education is now the responsability of the owners. Of course we try to keep track on their development. Again, we hope all owners enjoy their puppy and we wish them lots of good luck!

Saturday we took the puppies out for their first realtime walk in the woods. The owners were invited to join us and 4 out of 5 were able to walk with us. The weather was great and both owners as dogs had lots of fun. The leashed pups behaved very well and enjoyed their new surroundings very much. Of course below some pics and with special thanks to the De Wilde family for making some good shots.

Louisa sent us new pics from Cayou (son of Falanga x Grimmendans Fourlan), Djego en Nicay. We do not know how Louisa always manages but her photos are always beautiful.

* In the meantime the Hendriksen family is busy arranging the reuni of the P-litter for 3 october coming. The Dutch Association of Belgian Shepherds is having a special happening for young dogs and it would be nice to be there with the complete litter. Up till now Mats, Pelle, Preza and Phaiza will be there. And of course we shall be there too. We are looking forward to seeing all the pups again!

Stefanie Segaert en Steef Drabbé sent us some photos from their German Shepherd Xena. Stefanie and Steef are the future owners of own of the puppies from this litter. See, it is possible to live in peace with each other. They do not need to live cat and dog!

Our puppies already become 6 weeks next week. They suffered a cold for almost a week. But they are doing great again. They are playing, running and eating well. Coming Wednesday they will be chipped and coming Saterday they will receive their first shots. Coming Sunday we will walk the puppies in the nearby woods. For the owners it is just a few weeks waiting before they can come and pick up their puppy.

* Today (25/8) Gerrit van der Kamp gave us a call and told us that he has had put to sleep his 14-year old Tervueren Floyd Beau du Fauve Beaute. To Gerrit Floyd has been man's best friend. Floyd was a very shiny, very smart but also a very stubborn dog. Floyd picked Gerrit as his owner! Being a pup Floyd behaved himself in such way towards Gerrit, that Gerrit could do nothing but take him as his new dog. Fortunately Gerrit never regretted this decision. We wish Gerrit, Birgit and the children our symphaties. Thea en Sacha

* 13 August, we received sad news from the Savijn Family. Their beloved dog 'Disney Belvédère du Fauve Beauté has been put to sleep at the age of fiftheen years. We wish Henk, Sandra and their children the very best with the loss of Disney. Sacha en Thea

The pups from Hakuna grew well. They moved into a larger kennel, so they are able to develop theirselves furthermore. They already love to play with eachother and are very inquisitive to new items in their new world!

Below also new pics from Mats and Pelle. As you can see, both dog (Pelle) as child (Bente) interact perfectly.

Our puppies from Hakuna grow well. They have had their first treatment against worms and coming Friday they reach the age of two weeks old. Hakuna is a very proud mother and takes good care of her children. Below you'll find an update in pics!

Last Sunday Sylvia Brom visited us and of course we used the moment to take some pictures of her dog 'Aske'. Aske is a daugther of Birka van 't Sparrebos (Falanga) x Grimmendans Fourlan. She is the sister of our Chaya. Aske is a very stable, friendly bitch with lots of humor. We think, Aske is a very nice Tervueren!

From Hannie and Wim Hendriksen we received new photo's from Mats and Pelle. Both brothers grew well last weeks. Mats is doing great. He suffered no more 'grow pains' As you can see both dogs are getting along with children very well.

Born on 30 July 2010: 2 Boys and 3 Girls! Father is 'Grimmendans Fourlan' & Mother is 'Belle van 't Sparrebos'. Both mom as children are doing well!

Last several weeks we have had a few dogs to stay with us during the holidays of their owners. Of course, if possible we made some pics of these dogs. Below you'll see Lulu (daughter of Hakuna) from the Oostdam family and Phaiza (daughter of Hakuna) from the Ter Braak family.

A few weeks ago Loes Bijlhout (owner Tervueren kennel 'Of Axewoodhome') asked us to help her youngest Belgian to swim. As we did, we had lots of fun and also the dogs enjoyed some swimming. Below you also find a photo from our Darkini. At the moment I snapped this pic of her, she was very willing to get attention, but absolutely not willing to show her ears! I think she is adorable!
