* In the meantime the pups of Mataki have reached the age of 8 weeks!Saterday the first pups have left with their new owners. According to the owners, the pups are doing very well and are full of energy. They are very attentive and like it to be huged a lot! For 3 males we are looking for enthousiastic people. And really visitors, these pups are not just nice, they are fantastic! If you are interested do not hesitate and gather information.(Thea & Sacha)

* We had a unpleasant experience this weekend with one of the older dogs! Our Youandi (11 years) has suffered a small stroke. She is doing well now, except for her walking like a drunk animal. We do not know the exact reason for the attaque, but a braintumor can be the cause. Time will tell us. We hope we are allowed to enjoy her a little bit longer.(Thea & Sacha)

* Many visitors have sent us new stories and pictures of their dogs. We are sorry to tell, that we fail to place these items properly. It is also impossible for us to put pictures of Mataki at the board, because the pc refuses our scanner right know. I think our pc has broken down and I hope we can solve these problems soon! I am sorry, I hope you can bring up some more patience!(Thea & Sacha)

* Pups of Mataki are growing fast. They play, eat and sleep a lot. There are very friendly and enthousiastic. Mataki is getting a little bit tired of them; they have become sharp teeth and they (also)still drink her milk and that can be painfully. It is almost impossible to step in and out the kennel, all animals and human are very nice objects for the pups to play with. Pants and shoes are favorite. Today we had nice results in dogshow. Hakuna was placed 3th outstanding and Falanga received a second place and outstanding. We are satisfied with these results for these young dogs!(Thea & Sacha)

* 12 april: In the Belgian Shepherd Kennel 'van de Pillendijk' in Belgium is born, on the 7th of april, a litter of 7 pups! 5 males and 3 bitches. Father of this litter is 'Sheitan du Domain du Hutteau'. Mother is 'Grimmendans Xaikan'. There are pups of this nice combination available. * Our Mataki (Belgian Shepherd) has given live to 4 bitches and 3 males on the 7th of march.The combination of the parents is "Ebony Mataki du Fauve Beauté x Grimmendans Baroe" The pups are growing very well. They own very nice and stable caracters. I hope, this weekend, to put some pictures of Baroe and the pups on the site! There are still pups available. * We started the new trainingseason. We finished 2003 with all the dogs obtaining a diploma. That means we received 10 certificates in obedience and agility! In the dogshow we also did very well and we hope this year will also be a very good 'dog'- year!

* It took us some time, but finally we are able to update the website again. Lacking time and serious computerproblems made it impossible for us to inform you about the ins and outs of the kennel. We hope from now we can keep you up to date!(Thea & Sacha)
