The Bouius family sent us pics of Ivar. Ivar is the son of Mkoowi (Falanga Mkoowi van 't Noordererf) x Istvan's Chelly Bright. The offspring of Mkoowi have already become 10 years now and are doing well. Below you'll find pics of Ivar (Ivar Mkoowi du Fauve Beaute)

Last week, the pups left with their owners. Although we are sure, the pups found theirselves good homes, we always worry a bit about their welfare (softies as we are). The first news is very positive. Mats and Pelle (two brothers) our doing great with the Hendriksen family. So is Leslie (their sister) with Bert and Nanda. The slight difference between these is the fact that the two brothers stay silent throughout the nigths, but Leslie is making sure that everyone in the house shall not sleep! We received no news from the other two sisters but it has been short time since they left. We would like to thank all the owners for their attentions. Both the dogs as us received so many nice gifts that we feel a bit spoiled!

Today (28 March), we made a short walk with the pups and their owners in the park. Although it was a bit crowded in the house. Outside we all enjoyed the puppies and the fine weather. Hannie and Wim sent us pictures a few hours after the walk. See below!

On March 9, we received sad news. Cas, the mate of Douwe from the Hendriksen family, suddenly got very ill. Hannie and Wim had to decide to put Cas to sleep. Cas and Douwe were two brothers living together for 13 years. Wim and Hannie lost two dogs in three months. Hopefully their new pups will bring them much joy and laugther again.

* It is not our style to mention the outcome of dogshows we visit with our dogs, but today I add a few results to inform visitors of our site that our dogs are also to be seen in dogshows. March 7th: Familie Wiggert showed their bitch 'Notre Belle Amie du Fauve Beaute'(Aske) and got judged: 4 Very Good. Aske is still a very young dog and needs to become a more fullgrown dog. The report the judge wrote about Aske was very nice and promising. March 21th : Our 'Notre Grande Amour du Fauve Beaute' (Chaya) was judged '4 Excellent' March 21th : Our 'On m'appelle Noeline du Fauve Beaute'(Wolvie) was judged '1Very Promising' Of course we are satisfied with these results!

Below an overview of our puppies. Tuesday coming the 2 boys and 3 girls reach the age of 7 weeks!

Harry and Lia van der Lijke visited us and the puppies a week ago. They still have Nantar (daughter of our Eyona Gaia du Fauve Beaute (Marinda) x Xenakis du Clan des Fauves. Nowadays, Nantar is accompanied by Kamatz (Crossbred Dutch Shepherd and Malinois). Below some pics of Nantar and Kamatz.

Nick and Mimi sent us an update about Makoy (On m'appelle Othello du Fauve Beauté). Makoy is a son from our Hakuna (Belle van 't Sparrebos x Grimmendans Amon) and a brother of our 'Wolvie'. Makoy is doing great. Nick works with Makoy and together they passed the first exams with outstanding results. Unfortunately Nick hurt himself badly a month ago and is still recovering, so for the time being he is not able to work with Makoy. We wish Nick to get better soon!

Our pups from Falanga (Birka van 't Sparrebos X Grimmendans Chudo) aro also doing fantastic. Last Friday they were at the vet's practice for their first shots. They all showed a firm and inquisitive behaviour. Also the vet was pleased with their good health and appearance. Lost of people visited the puppies already and we start to think that they might get a bit spoiled. That goes for the elder dogs too.

Our puppies from Falanga and Chudo our doing great. They already grew the size of a small rabbit; their eyes and ears have opened and they already made their first steps inside our livingroom. At the age of 6 or 7 weeks, we and the future-owners will take the pups outside for a walk in the real world. We are looking for that moment!

We received news from Monique en Joop van der Veer. Monique and Joop did have a Tervueren Sherpherd from our kennel, but Pasco (Basco du Fauve Beaute) deceased in 2008. A few months ago they asked us to deliver them a new young male, but unfortunately we were not able to give them a pup within a half year. Luckily Joop and Monique found theirselves a new friend with the kennel ' of the Homeport'. As soon as possible they sent us pictures of their new pup. Below you find 'Igor of the Homeport'. Isn't Igor lovely? Joop and Monique, enjoy Igor. We hear from you again!

A few weeks ago the Viswat family contacted us for a male puppie. Unfortunately, we were not able to deliver one, because all pups already found an owner. We gave the family some other addresses where to enquire for a new pup. Happily they found a nice pup at the kennel of Joke Reugebrink. The pup is called 'Charise van het Schothorsterpark'. We wish the Viswat the best with Charise!

The puppies grow fast. They all weigh 1 kilo or more. They are clearly satisfied by their mother's milk. Many people already visited the litter, which pleases the other dogs because they get their extra attention. Below some new pics of the now 12 days old puppies.

We also received photo's from Louisa Wegerif. Cayou (Grimmendans Fourlan x Birka van 't Sparrebos) is a 14 months old male. As you can see his coat starts to color. Louisa started agility traning and Cayou, though he (like his brother Tresor) is sometimes still misbehaving, is doing good. I added the pics from Cayou and the Shelties: Djego and Nikay.

We received a sad message from the Hendriksen family. Wim and Hannie bougth in 1997 two brothers from the litter 'Aulica van 't Hof Caliente el Sol' (Naccie) x Ness van de Hoge Laer. The two brothers, Cas (Fenrir du Fauve Beauté) and Douwe (Freyr du Fauve Beauté), lived side by side for thirteen years. Unfortunately, Douwe has been put to sleep on 1 January 2010. Douwe had a severe stroke and there was nothing that could have been done to cure him. Luckily Cas is still in a very good shape and altough he misses his brother from time to time, he is still in a very good shape. We are very sorry for the Hendriks family for the loss of Douwe. Below you'll find pics of Cas and Douwe shot in 2009.

Finally, 5 pups were born from the combination 'Grimmendans Chudo x Birka van 't Sparrebos (Falanga)' on 2 February 2010. Both mother as children (2 boys and 3 girls) are doing well!

From Hans & Yvonne Burggraaf-Kanters we received pics from Pavot and Tresor. Tresor is a male from the combination Grimmendans Fourlan x Birka van 't Sparrebos. Yvonne is working hard with Tresor and she hopes he will be a good dog in the obedience. Although Tresor has his 'side effects' (Tresor has a nice will to please but sometimes…..), we trust that will be no problem.

The Unkel family sent us pics from Singa and Lulu. Both dogs are sisters from the combination Grimmendans Amon and Belle van 't Sparrebos. Singa is from the Unkel family and Lulu from the Oostdam family. Both dogs passed their first working exam and are a joy for the families. We hope to see the litters reunited some day this summer.
