Our Hakuna is doing well. Although she has a round belly and weather is extremely warm, she manages to stay calm and happy. Of course, daily swimming adds to her well-being. Within a few weeks Hakuna will give birth and we are already very inquisitive about the coming puppies!

We received an update from Wim and Hannie Hendriksen. M&P are already becoming big dogs. Latest news is that Mats is suffering from growing to fast. For a dog this often means pain and walking with difficult. We hope to hear good news about the progress of Mats from Hannie and Wim again.

Ard and Petra sent us some new pics from Phaiza (daughter from Falanga x Chudo and sister from Preza, Leslie, Mats and Pelle). These dogs have already reached the age of 5 months. Time is going so fast…. Below the pics from Phaiza!

We received pics from Riny and Ingrid van Brienen from Nikita (daughter of Hakuna). Nikita received also her second obedience certificate. She and her owners did their job well. Keep up the good work! Below you'll find pics from Nikita, who has become 12 months now.

Our Hakuna is doing great. Slowly, we notice some slight changes in her behaviour and she also increased a bit in weight. Soon, holidays will start and it will become a quiet period. We'll try to enjoy our little more free time. For all of you, enjoy vacations and hope to hear from you soon again.

We received news from the Van der Pol family. Their Leslie is doing good. She is a quick learner and become a little bit more civillized. Bert en Nanda enjoy the presence of Leslie in their home next to the other dogs. Below you'll find photo's from Leslie.

* Our Hakuna (Belle van 't Sparrebos) has been mated with Grimmendans Fourlan. After long thinking and many discussions, we decided to have Fourlan as the father for the coming pups. Grimmendans Guttci will stuck on our list for future combinations. For now we're very inquisitive for the coming litter!

The Steinvoort Family called us to tell that also Preza (sister of Mats, Pelle and Phaiza) is doing great. Jan and Toos are very happy with their new pup. They promised to send us pics soon!

This weekend we have been very busy with all sorts of dog business. First, there were exams to pass, than we had our Hakuna to be mated with Fourlan, but we also visited the happening of the Dutch Association of Belgian Shepherd Dogs.
Our Wolvie, daughter of Hakuna (Belle van 't Sparrebos) x Grimmendans Chudo passed her first obedience-test perfect. Our Chaya, passed it less charming, but also received her certificate. (Chaya reached puberty and is trying to climb to the top of our pack). But Chaya also received her agility-certificate, so next season we'll start training a higher level. For now we have a summer-stop untill August, what gives us a bit more time for other things needed to be handled.
At the happening in Deurne, we spoke with many people and enjoyed all the Belgian Shephers very much. We also spoke with Yvonne and Hans Burggraaf-Kanters. They are the owners of Tresor (ne..pas du Fauve Beaute) Tresor is a son of our Falanga (Birka van 't Sparrebos) x Grimmendans Fourlan. It is also a brother from Cayou, Aske and our Chaya. Also the Ter Braak familly sent us an update of Phaiza. Phaiza is a sister of Mats en Pelle. All three, Mats, Pelle and Phaiza are offspring of our Falanga (Birka van 't Sparrebos) X Grimmendans Chudo. As you can see below the three pups met each other during a visit of the Ter Braak at the Hendriksen family. To be honest, we cannot see which dog is Phaiza, Pelle or Mats. Sure is they had a lot of fun, both dogs and owners.

* The Hendriksen family sent us an update of Mats en Pelle. The brothers grow well and act very social towards other animals, dogs and humans. They are fast learners and a joy for the family. Below you'll find new pics of Mats, Pelle and their sister Phaiza.

* Our Hakuna has become in season finally. We also received permission from the Dutch Association for Belgian Shepherd Dogs for the combination we have in mind. We expect to have Hakuna mated within one and a half weeks.

* Yvonne sent us a mail about Tresor (Fourlan van 't Sparrebos x Birka van 's Sparrebos). Tresor passed his obedience examen very well. He will start Cynophilia I, next season. Yvonne and Hans, congratulations with this result!

From the Ter Braak family we also received news from Phaiza. She is doing great! The whole family is enjoying this lovely young female.

Half April we visited Louisa Wegerif. Of course, during the visit we went out for a walk with the dogs and some photo's have been made. Below some of the pics. Cayou (Birka van 't Sparrebos X Grimmendans Fourlan) is becoming a very nice and lovely dog. We enjoyed the visit very much!

In the meantime we spoke with Lonneke Oostdam and Nineke Unkel. Lonneke is the owner of Lulu and Nineke is the owner of Singa. Both girls (dogs) are daughters from our Hakuna (x Grimmendans Amon). Both the owners as the dogs meet eachother regulary. I added two nice pics from Lulu and Singa. It seems that they are having fun together

* We also received new from the Ter Braak Family. Their puppy, Phaiza is also doing fine. She has settled within the family and has become a very welcome new family member. Phaiza is a calm female-puppy but according to Ard and Petra, sometimes she can also show mischieving behaviour. Below some photo's from Phaiza

We received a new update from the Hendriksen family. Mats en Pelle (2 boys from our last litter) are doing great. Hannie and Wim, but also other family members and friends enjoy these two youngsters very much. Below some new pics.

5 April we visited another exhibition. Also Sylvia Wiggerts was there with her two dogs, Aske and Baron. Aske was judged third place, Very Good and our Chaya was judged second place, Very Good by the German juror, Mr Peters. Wolvie and Baron were not subscribed. At the end of the day (filled with much laughter), we took some shots from the dogs. Of course I added these to our site!

The Bouius family sent us pics of Ivar. Ivar is the son of Mkoowi (Falanga Mkoowi van 't Noordererf) x Istvan's Chelly Bright. The offspring of Mkoowi have already become 10 years now and are doing well. Below you'll find pics of Ivar (Ivar Mkoowi du Fauve Beaute)

Last week, the pups left with their owners. Although we are sure, the pups found theirselves good homes, we always worry a bit about their welfare (softies as we are). The first news is very positive. Mats and Pelle (two brothers) our doing great with the Hendriksen family. So is Leslie (their sister) with Bert and Nanda. The slight difference between these is the fact that the two brothers stay silent throughout the nigths, but Leslie is making sure that everyone in the house shall not sleep! We received no news from the other two sisters but it has been short time since they left. We would like to thank all the owners for their attentions. Both the dogs as us received so many nice gifts that we feel a bit spoiled!
