Wie zijn wij?

Our Darkini!

We are Sacha Hermans; mother and daughter. We do share this same passion; dogs! Above all our Tervueren and our Dutch.

Thea or also called 'Gran' by many has reached eldery age. She is enjoying her pension now. (Of course the exact age is not mentioned) Thea graduated lawschool and worked in lawfirms for many years.

Thea has had many pets and still does. Besides the dogs (Sardai, Darkini, Hakuna, Anubis en Falanga), ther are 2 cats, five birds and fish. Even wild birds know how to find Gran for a snack during the daily wandering trough the woods.

Nowaday Thea spends her days in taking social care of and helping out families and the time remaining is spend on training en caring the dogs. In the field she is seen as a participant in agility games or as a juror in Flyball.

Sacha has reached the age of 37 years. Of course she grew up with animals (many animals...!) In a very far past Sacha worked in a animal shelter and had the opportunity to observe wildlife in Africa.

However people used to say that Sacha was better in working with animals than with humans, it all turned out just fine. Sacha graduated in Human Resource management and has worked in a huge ICT-company in the Netherlands for several years.

Her work is asking a lot of effort, but Sacha is still always available for dogs, their owners and their problems. Always there to help someone out.

Sacha and Thea hope hope to stay able to work with their passion. Both strive for delivering social, healthy and beautiful dogs. Dogs which can give so many people and families so much joy. Although some things work against us, as being a breeder, it will not stop us 'living' our passion

Our worst nightmare? Having a dog placed with the wrong person. Fortunately it does not happen often, but still this gives us sleepless nights. This makes us incompetent breeders, because we feel our responsibility goes so much further than the frontdoor.

In total, what we do and what we are? Dogs, dogs and dogs!
